Dental Bridges Near You
A traditional dental bridge is one of the most common ways to replace one, two or multiple missing teeth. It involves creating crowns on the teeth beside a space where a tooth or teeth are missing and placing an artificial tooth or crown between them. Dental bridges can be made to look seamless using porcelain that matches your teeth and a design that makes the artificial tooth look nearly indistinguishable from a natural tooth.
- Traditional – This is the most common type of bridge. It involves creating crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap and placing a pontic (artificial tooth) between them.
- Cantilever – This type of bridge is used when there is only one adjacent tooth next to the gap. The pontic is supported by a crown on a single abutment tooth.

- Implant-Supported – This type of bridge is supported by dental implants that are surgically placed in the jawbone. It offers excellent stability and is suitable when multiple teeth are missing in a row.
- Maryland – This bridge uses a metal or porcelain framework bonded to the backs of adjacent teeth. It is a conservative option and doesn’t require extensive tooth preparation.
